Calvary Christian’s boys basketball fell to host Hardin Northern 62-46 on Tuesday in the Spartans season opener.
The Spartans were able to build a 28-19 lead at halftime, but saw the Polar Bears come charging back in the second half to retake the lead and come away with the win.
Xavier Daniels anchored Calvary’s offense with 17 points and Titus Davie had 15 points.
In junior varsity action, Hardin Northern beat Calvary Christian 41-22. Patrick James led the Spartans with six points, Caleb King had five points and Ephraim Daniels had four points.
Calvary Christian hosts Mars Hill on Saturday at Union Station. The game will be live streamed on the Calvary Christian School Facebook page.
