C . Keith Post, 82, of Clayton, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017.
Born in Bellefontaine, he worked for Gem City Ice Cream and later retired from Miami Valley News Agency with 38 years of service. Keith was a member of Englewood United Methodist Church. He also was a member of Englewood Masonic Lodge 743 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine where he was involved with the Jesters, Directors Staff, Kentucky Colonels, Motor Corps, American Legion Post 707 and the V.F.W.
Keith also enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
He is survived by his children, Steven (Claudette) Post of Potsdam, Kathi McGrath of Clayton, Sherri (Steve) Fischer of Englewood; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; half-brothers, Allen (Elba) Post and Gene (Nancy) Post, both of Bellefontaine; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Miller Post, parents, Charles and Clarabelle Decker Post, stepmother, Evelyn Woods; and son-in-law, Marty McGrath.
Masonic and funeral services begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Blvd., Englewood, where calling begins at 1 p.m. The Rev. Kim Armentrout officiates and interment is to be in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children and Hospice of Dayton.
