Rebecca M.A. Beasley, 21, of 1000 Garfield Ave., Lot 80, was charged Tuesday with burglary.
She allegedly entered 216 Evergreen Drive around 9:50 a.m. and used a phone to call her ex-boyfriend, William Jervis Jr.
Jervis then called his father, William Jervis Sr., informing him the suspect was in their home.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department found her outside the residence and she claimed she was waiting on a ride.
She admitted crawling through a window to gain access to the residence.
Nothing was stolen.
Beasley was lodged in jail.
Motorists charged with OVI
Richard T. Shoffner, 33, of 717 Eastern Ave., was charged Saturday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for failure to drive in the marked lanes of the road, expired registration, expired driver’s license and failure to use safety belts.
Around 3:40 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a southbound sport utility vehicle cross the center lane in the 700 block of north Main Street. He was stopped in the 100 block of south Main Street, parked outside the stall’s lines and onto the curb.
Officer detected an odor of alcohol while talking with the motorist and began field sobriety tests. Those tests indicated he was impaired and officers offered to administer a breathalyzer test.
The motorist refused the test.
• Bradley D. Kiser, 55, of 3360 County Road 55, Apt. 10, was charged Tuesday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was cited for driving under suspension and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger, 700 S. Main St., to investigate an intoxicated motorist harassing an employee. The motorist was observed leaning on the trunk of his car.
Officers detected an odor of alcohol while talking with the driver. The also found a thermal cup with cold beer inside the car.
Field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired and he provided breathalyzer samples of 0.23.
