Botkins outscored visiting Riverside 36-15 in the second half to cruise to a 60-33 win in a non-league girls basketball game Thursday night.
The Pirates are off to a 1-3 start, while the Trojans remain undefeated at 7-0.
Botkins led 16-10 after the first quarter and 24-18 at halftime.
The third quarter saw Botkins use a 24-9 run to open up a 24-point cushion at 48-27.
The Trojans stayed in control in the final quarter to wrap up the win.
For the Pirates, Kalin Kreglow led the way with 12 points, Dana Jones had eight points and Shelby Giles added seven points.
In the junior varsity game, Botkins won 44-21. Leah Kelsey led the Pirates with nine points.
Riverside travels to Dayton Christian on Saturday for a non-league game.
