Wapakoneta held off Bellefontaine 151-142 to win the boys 17-team meet, while host Ben Logan was third with 107 points. Indian Lake came in seventh with 44 points, Calvary Christian was ninth with nine points and Riverside was 11th with five points.
The Redskins also won the girls meet with 150 points. The Raiders were second at their own meet with 115 points and the Chieftains were third with 104 points. The Lakers finished ninth with 16 points and the Pirates were 10th with nine points.
“This meet was a total team effort,” said Ben Logan girls head coach Mike Coder. “We had 17 of our 36 athletes involved in scoring. Our team focus was on work. They were challenged to compete throughout the meet and that they did.
“Our coaches could not be prouder of these athletes and how they performed. The team was excited about performing in front of a nice crowd of fans and classmates. There is still work to be done as we prepare for our conference and tournament run.”
