DARIAN ROCKHOLD |
Darian Rockhold fired a no-hitter to help Benjamin Logan’s softball team bounce visiting Elida 11-0 in five innings on Saturday during a non-league contest.
The win improves the Raiders to 11-6 on the season.
“We’ve been playing really good softball the last couple of games,” said Ben Logan head coach John Stahl. “The team has been playing great defense and has been hitting the ball really well.”
Rockhold finished with two strikeouts and three walks to record the no-hitter.
“Pitching was stellar today,” said Stahl. “Darian didn’t give up a hit, but we made some fantastic defensive plays behind her. Hopefully, we will keep the momentum rolling this coming week.”
Ben Logan scored four runs in the first inning and four runs in the second inning for a quick 8-0 lead. The Raiders tacked on a run in the third inning and two more runs in the fourth inning.
