History buffs, aficionados of the arts and other civic-minded citizens of Logan County are preparing to kick off the county’s bicentennial with a Saturday evening celebration at the Holland Theatre.

During the hourlong tribute to the past 200 years of local history and culture, guests will get to hear three short vignettes about Logan County’s history as well as a short number sung by a 20-member choir formed exclusively for the event that begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Holland, 127 E. Columbus Ave.
“There is such a variety of activities and presentations set for Saturday evening that everyone will find something special and interesting as we celebrate our history and heritage,” said Logan County Commissioner Joe Antram, who is helping organize the event.
