Bellefontaine City Schools has learned that five current Bellefontaine High School students and four 2018 BHS graduates been recognized for their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement exams.
Ryoma Kawakami, a 2018 BHS graduate, qualified for the National AP Scholar Award by earning an average score of 4 or higher on all AP exams taken and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
Three 2018 graduates were recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction — Ryoma, Lilli LeVan and Alexander Taylor. They received this recognition for scoring an average of at least a 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
