A Cap and Gown challenge was recently issued to the seniors in the Bellefontaine High School Physics 2 class. They were asked to spend time helping others during the quarantine, and some of the pupils wore their graduation caps while conducting their activities.
Cheyenne Shade and Samantha McLaughlin delivered lunches to their grandparents.
Davis Norris delivered soap to donate to families in need.
“It is great to have the opportunity to give back to the community that has given us so much,” he said.
Fellow senior Hannah Rader works with the organization 4 Paws for Ability training dogs to assist individuals with a disability. She took one of the dogs shopping with her.
“I took Velvet with me when I was out, helping her to acclimate, but also because everyone is struggling right now and the face of a puppy sure does help.”
Na Lin helped others with online classes, and Jacob Shell assisted his neighbors with yard work and installing mulch.
“I wanted to give back to the community in this time of need through yard work because there is no better time than now,” Jacob said.
