Bellefontaine’s girls golf team picked up a big Central Buckeye Conference win Thursday, edging host Kenton Ridge 198-201.
Bellefontaine is now 7-3 overall and 4-1 in CBC play.
Haley Watkins led the Chiefs with a round of 46. Emily McLaughlin shot a 47, Samantha McLaughlin had a 52, Ari Hiatt shot a 53 and Amy Fulmer and Emily Fulmer each had 65.
Bellefontaine is back in action Monday at home with a tri-match against Wapakoneta and Bluffton.
Triad wins tri-match
Triad’s girls golf team defeated Mechanicsburg and Springfield Catholic Central in a tri-match at Woodland Golf Club on Thursday.
The Cardinals had a 231 and Mechanicsburg shot 241. SCC did not have enough golfers to post a team score.
For Triad, Jess Woodard shot a 56, Kallie Smith had a 57, Macy Linscott shot 58 and Lexi Moore had a 60.
