Bellefontaine’s varsity boys bowling team rolled past Jonathan Alder 2,651-2,517 in Central Buckeye Conference action Wednesday afternoon.
Beau Salyer fired a 277 game and added a 190 game for a 467 series to lead the Chiefs. Ryan Carmen had a 232 game and 181 game for a 413 series, Caleb Gonterman posted two 197 games for a 394 series and Landon Gibbs chipped in with a 215 game.
The junior varsity boys team saw Ethan Akers roll a 287 series and JacobReed roll a 266 series.
In the girls varsity match, Jonathan Alder edged the Chiefs 2,299-2,265.
Lindsey Heminger led the Lady Chiefs with games of 203 and 205 for a 408 series. Ashley Ehmer had games of 201 and 169 for a 370 series, Kayla Watkins rolled a 182 game and Macie Smith added a 169 game.
The junior varsity girls team slipped past the Pioneers 1,785-1,774. Leyla Johnson led the Chiefs with games of 139 and 150 for a 289 series. Katie Crabill had a 152 game.
Bellefontaine will host North Union on Tuesday.
