Beverly “Bev” J. Piper, 68, of Kenton, peacefully left us at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at her residence with her family by her side.
She y was born May 24, 1950, to the late William “Bill” Franklin and Rhea Madge Bacon Henicle, who survives in Kenton.
She also is survived by her daughters, Mindy (Zack) Amweg of Kenton and Mandy (Tom) Shoe of DeGraff; and seven grandchildren, Alexus, Ethan, Tyler, Billy, Olivia, Camden and Liam; five siblings, Barbara Carothers and Sharon (Terry) Bosley, both of Kenton, Billy Joe (Ruth) Henicle of Tennessee, Nancy (Vernon) Moyer of North Carolina and Larry Henicle of Forest; many nieces and nephews; and her daughters’ father, Doug Piper.
Bev served her country in the United States Air Force from 1970 to1972.
She was a life member of AMVETS Post 1994 in Kenton. She loved to bowl, the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.
A Celebration of Life Service with military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at AMVETS Post 1994 in Kenton, followed by a time of visitation with family and friends. It is the family’s wish that the attire for the day be casual.
