Benjamin Paul Rorrer, 24, of Yellow Springs, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018. Ben was born in Gallipolis on Dec. 15, 1993, to Kenneth and Beverly Huber Rorrer, who survive in Zanesfield.
He is also survived by his siblings, Emily (Richard) Stevens of Springfield and Thomas Rorrer and Maria Rorrer, both of Zanesfield; grandparents, Karen Rorrer of Point Pleasant, W.Va., John and Donna Huber of Allegan, Mich., and Max Green of Bellefontaine; great-grandmother, Juanita Hone of West Liberty; and numerous special aunts, uncles and cousins.
Ben was a 2012 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School where he was active in soccer, band and musicals. After high school, Ben attended the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe. He loved music, art, nature and especially his large circle of treasured family. He was currently involved with a number of bands and musical collaborations in the Yellow Springs area as well as being the assistant kitchen manager at Ye Olde Trail Tavern in Yellow Springs.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. Pastor Eric Cook officiates a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 624 Township Road 55, Bellefontaine.
