Benjamin Logan’s girls basketball team cruised past visiting Northwestern for a 42-17 win Saturday in Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division play.
The Raiders improve their record to 5-7 on the season and 3-2 in the CBC Mad River division, while the Warriors drop to 4-8, 1-4.
Ben Logan started off with a 9-4 lead after the first quarter. The Raiders then went on a 16-2 run in the second quarter for a 25-6 halftime advantage.
The third quarter saw Ben Logan edge Northwestern 10-8, which built a 35-14 cushion. The Raiders finished off the win in the fourth quarter with a 7-3 effort.
Savannah Pavoni paced the Raiders with 12 points and three steals, Lynzee Cronkleton had 10 points with two steals and Elliott Bailey had seven points.
Ben Logan travels to Bellefontaine on Wednesday for a local Central Buckeye Conference contest.
