Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team held off host Northwestern 52-47 in a Central Buckeye Conference Mad River division contest Friday night.
The Raiders are now 6-13 overall and 3-5 in the division, while the Warriors fall to 4-13, 1-7.
Ben Logan, which beat Northwestern 59-50 earlier in the season, started off slow in the rematch. The Warriors led 18-11 to end the first quarter.
However, the Raiders outscored the Warriors 16-10 in the second quarter to only trail by one (28-27) heading into halftime.
Ben Logan used a 12-8 run in the third quarter to take over the lead, 39-36. The Raiders held up in the fourth quarter with a 13-11 effort.
Davontae Fahle sparked the Raiders with 16 points, Keaghan Stahler scored 13 points, Ethan Ricketts tallied nine points and Trey Allen added seven points.
In junior varsity action, Ben Logan rolled past Northwestern 55-33. Breshon Jacobs led the Raiders with 13 points.
The Raiders also won the freshman game 36-25 with Lukas Hemmelgarn scoring 10 points. Ben Logan hosts St. Marys Memorial on Tuesday in a non-league game. BEN LOGAN 52
