Bellefontaine and Benjamin Logan met once during the reg- ular season this spring and the two Logan County squad will battle each other again in a first- round sectional tournament game next week.
The area’s baseball squads learned their tournament matchups during Sunday’s draw meetings.
In the Division II sectional bracket, Benjamin Logan earned the second seed and will host the seventh-seeded Chiefs on Tuesday, May 8. Kenton Ridge received the top seed.
West Liberty-Salem and Indian Lake landed in the same bracket for the Dayton section- al. The 10th-seeded Tigers host Twin Valley South on Monday, May 7, while the 24th-seeded Lakers open on the road against sixth-seeded Waynesville on Wednesday, May 9.
In Division IV, seventh-seed- ed Riverside hosts Fairlawn on Monday, May 7. Fourth-seeded Triad took a first-round bye and plays at home Wednesday, May 9, against the winner of the first- round game between Bradford and Mississinawa Valley.
