The Benjamin Logan Schools’ Robotics Team competed in the National Robotics Challenge April 12-14 in Marion.
The team had several top finishes, with Ryan Spatz advancing to the finals in the Mini-Sumo category. Holden Baker led the Internet of Things Challenge team, which received a Gold Award.
The plastic beetleweight Combat Bot team led by Ashley Gantt placed second and received a Silver Award. Student Hayden Bailey also had a ninth place showing.
The team also had entries this year in the Interactivity Challenge, Robot Hockey and Tactile Maze.
