After more than 13 hours in the negotiations room Tuesday, the Benjamin Logan Education Association and school administration reached a tentative contract agreement, Superintendent Dave Harmon reported.
The deal must next be approved by the executive committee of the teacher’s union and full membership before being presented to the Ben Logan Board of Education for final approval.
Specifics of the contract have not yet been revealed.
“This was a difficult process with concessions on both sides,” according to a statement sent via email from Harmon that was also attributed to union negotiators Marge Jenkins of the BLEA and Dominic Williams of the Ohio Education Association.
