Benjamin Logan’s boys and girls swim teams placed first in a meet at Trotwood-Madison on Wednesday.
The Raider girls scored 334.5 points for their win, while the Ben Logan boys tallied 306 points for their first-place finish.
For the Ben Logan girls, Annika Simovart led the way with first-place finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Also finishing first were Gabrielle Schmidt, Aliya Pelger, Junette Ly and Simovart in both the 200 freestyle relay and the 400 freestyle relay.
Also for the Raiders, Schmidt was third in the 100 breaststroke and fourth in the 200 freestyle, Ly took second in the 100 butterfly and sixth in the 50 freestyle, Corinne Herring was second in the 200 individual medley, Liberty Hays finished third in the 100 backstroke and the 200 medley relay team of Hays, Herring, Allison Moore and Maria Henderson finished seventh.
Ben Logan’s boys team was sparked by the winning 200 freestyle relay team of Jacob McKenrick, Max Leezer, Kelvin Ong and Carter Rees. The group set a new school record with a time of 1:40.95.
The 200 medley relay team of Luke McKenrick, Robert Leezer, Dylan Jordan and Sam Henderson placed second and also finishing second was the 400 freestyle relay team of Ong, Jacob McKenrick, Max Leezer and Rees.
Individually for the Raiders, Rees was second in the 50 freestyle and second in the 100 freestyle, Max Leezer placed third in the 50 freestyle and second in the 100 breaststroke, Ong took second in the 200 individual medley and fifth in the 100 freestyle, Jacob McKenrick placed third in the 200 individual medley and third in the 100 breaststroke, Luke McKenrick was fifth in the 200 freestyle and Jordan placed eighth in the 100 backstroke.
