While his prep career recently came to a close, Grant Ward is not ready to hang up his track shoes.
The Benjamin Logan senior has decided to further his track and field career by signing with Capital University, an NCAA Division III program.
“I think Grant will fit in well at a smaller school like Capital,” said Ben Logan track coach Kevin Butler. “I think just like going to any college, there will be an adjustment, but I think he will handle it well.”
Ward is coming off a strong senior season in which he won an individual Central Buckeye Conference Mad River title in the 800 and was a regional qualifier in the same event. He was also a primary point scorer, helping Benjamin Logan’s boys win four league titles during his time on the track and field team.
