Benjamin Logan’s wrestling team went 2-0 in a super tri-meet against visiting Triad, Oakwood and Celina on Thursday. The Raiders defeated the Cardinals 54-24 and then beat the Lumberjacks 41-29.
Triad lost to Celina 60-23 in its second dual of the night. Despite having just five wrestlers, the Cardinals won eight out of the 10 matches they wrestled.
Celina defeated Oakwood 45-24 in the night’s other dual.
“Collectively, we wrestled better as a team,” said BL head coach Kyle Seeley. “That is what I’m proud of most. You go out there expecting to beat certain guys and they went out and took care of business.”
