Bellefontaine’s wrestling team received a good test Saturday in the Hammer and Invitational at Western Brown High School.
The Chieftains placed two individuals in the top six and finished 15th out of 22 teams.
Lebanon won the meet with 234 points, Campbell County of Kentucky was runner-up with 205 points and Northmont was third with 195.5 points. Bellefontaine had 31 points.
Placing for the Chieftains were Garrett Gross (195) and Noah Yoesting (152). Gross was fifth with a 4-1 record and four pins, while Yoesting finished sixth with a 3-2 record and two technical falls.
Also winning matches for BHS were Ryan Stuhlemmer (182) and Josh Lasyone (220).
Bellefontaine is back on the mat Saturday for the Miami Trace Invitational.
