The Chiefs lost their third consecutive Central Buckeye Conference game, falling at the hands of visiting Kenton Ridge 58-54.
Overall, it was Bellefontaine’s fourth loss in its last five games.
The Chiefs are now 7-7 overall and 4-3 in the CBC. Kenton Ridge, which won just one game last year, improves to 8-5, 4-3.
“I think our lack of experience at the varsity level is showing when games get tight,” said Bellefontaine head coach Jason Calton. “We again had too many turnovers and didn’t value our possessions when the game was on the line.”
