Bellefontaine’s boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Wapakoneta Invitational on Saturday and both teams had solid showings.
The Chieftains girls were fifth out of 13 teams and the Chieftain boys were in the middle of the pack in seventh out of 13 teams. Defiance won both the boys and girls races.
“I was very pleased with the team taking advantage of our first flat, cooler race,” said BHS head coach Ben Davis. “Nearly everyone got a personal best. It was encouraging.”
