Bellefontaine’s girls golf team lost to visiting London 5-0 in a Central Buckeye Conference girls tennis match.
The Chiefs fall to 1-7 overall and 0-7 in the CBC.
Bellefontaine had to forfeit at third singles as Sierra Bensman was unable to play because of an ankle injury.
“It’s tough to be already down 1-0 going into the match,” said Bellefontaine coach Jim Stein. “But I was pleased with the way the girls played. Courtney Sims and Mia Neer at first and second singles played some pretty good tennis and Samantha Starkey and Meng Wang did a nice job at second doubles.”
