Bellefontaine’s boys tennis team knocked off Kenton Ridge 4-1 on Saturday in a Central Buckeye Conference action.
The Chiefs swept the three singles matches.
Hunter Karg prevailed 6-4, 6- 2 at first singles, Maverick Calton won 6-3, 6-1 at second singles and Kasey Middaugh won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles. In first doubles action, Jackson Strzalka and Aiden Hartley won 6-1, 6-4.
The Chiefs’ Ben Sailors and Simon Stolly were defeated 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 at second doubles. In reserve singles action, Brooks Verhoff lost 8-1 and Hursh Bakshi won 9-7. The Chiefs host Northwestern on Tuesday.
