Bellefontaine’s girls bowling team defeated host West Liberty-Salem 2,076-1,834 on Tuesday in a local non-league matchup. Scores were bowled on last year’s sectional lane conditions.
Hannah Davis powered the Chiefs with games of 163 and 169 for a 326 series, while Madison Aldo had a game of 177 and also a 326 series.
For the Tigers, Rachel Larson had games of 154 and 139 for a 293 series, Erica McCall had games of 144 and 133 for a 277 series, Taylor Loverde had games of 126 and 147 for a 272 series and Hailee Clifford added a 243 series.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine’s girls beat WL-Salem 1,796-1,573.
Karly Lane led BHS with games of 160 and 132 for a 292 series and Lauren Heminger had a game of 164.
The Tigers saw Olivia Jacquemart roll games of 160 and 131 for a 291 series and Jillian Kirkham had games of 105 and 119 for a 224 series.
There was no boys match.
