Bellefontaine’s boys bowling team dropped host Kenton Ridge 2,703-2,404 on Friday during a Central Buckeye Conference match at Northridge Lanes.
Caleb Gonterman sparked the Chieftains with games of 257 and 201 for a 458 series, Ian Salyer rolled games of 226 and 195 for a 421 series, Landon Gibbs had a 226 game and Beau Salyer added a 215 game.
In junior varsity action, Bellefontaine’s boy beat Kenton Ridge 2,055-1,174. Drake Argabright led BHS with games of 176 and 194 for a 370 series, Ethan Akers rolled a 224 game and Jacob Reed rolled a game of 164.
Kenton Ridge defeated Bellefontaine’s girls 2,475-2,338. Abby Bailey led the Chiefs with games of 206 and 177 for a 379 series, Kayla Watkins rolled games of 177 and 167 for a 339 series and Lindsey Heminger added a game of 179.
Bellefontaine’s girls junior varsity team won 1,657-1,450. Akayla Ryan led the Chiefs with a 177 game and a 297 series.
Bellefontaine hosts Riverside on Tuesday in a local non-league match at T-P Lanes.
Lima Perry drops Riverside
Riverside’s boys bowling team fell to visiting Lima Perry 2,642-2,215 on Friday during Northwest Central Conference action at T-P Lanes.
Zander Crouch paced the Pirates with a game of 205 and a 379 series and Andan Short had a game of 188.
Riverside competes in the Centerville Invitational today.
