Bellefontaine City Schools Superintendent Brad Hall made the following announcement Friday to district families:
“I am happy to announce that Bellefontaine City Schools will be working in partnership with the Logan County Health District to support our community.
“While not all of the specific details have been worked out yet, I can report that on Monday, Nov. 22, and Tuesday, Nov. 23, the Logan County Health District will use Bellefontaine High School to offer vaccinations to children age 5 and older, provide vaccinations to any adult who wants to get one, and to offer the booster to all who qualify.
“This will require the district to make Monday, Nov. 22, and Tuesday, Nov. 23, professional development days in the district without K-12 students present. Those days will not be remote learning days.
“Once all of the details have been finalized, the Logan County Health District will develop a flyer to inform the community. I will share that flyer with all of you and post it on the district’s website.”
