The artistic talents and creativity of Bellefontaine City Schools’ students of all grade levels are currently on display at the Bellefontaine City Building,135 N. Detroit St.
Bellefontaine Mayor Ben Stahler welcomed 22 student artists to his Semi-Annual Mayor’s Art Awards reception Thursday night.
The students were chosen for their exceptional artistic skills, work ethic and Chieftain leadership in the art room.
These works of art are displayed on the walls of the upstairs floor of the City Building, right outside Mayor Stahler’s office. The pieces will remain on display through April.
Student artists honored through this effort include: Bellefontaine Elementary School — Evelynn Downing, Rylynn McQuerry, Grace Smith, Emma Smith, Beckett Stepp, Bryor Trout; Bellefontaine Intermediate School — William Campbell, Harrison Fissel, Jozie Freeman, Colson Garver, Karly Holtcamp, Greyson Huffman and Alissa Lane; Bellefontaine Middle School — Catherine Armstrong, Grace Brown, JaeAnn Dawson, Alivia May, Haidyn Tully; and Bellefontaine High School — Carisse Comstock, Zoey Dunlavey, Aundrea Foulk and Kari Wickline-Reynolds.
