Ashley Rene Colyer, 33, of Columbus and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at 12:10 p.m. in Grant Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born on April 30, 1987 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of Timothy and the late Cheryl Ann (Aultman) Colyer, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Martha Aultman, paternal grandparents, Lawrence & Rene Colyer, her uncle, Ron Aultman, and aunt Melinda Maxwell.
She is survived by her father Timothy (Mary Ann) Colyer of Bellefontaine, and her sister, Mandy (Cory) Allinder and her niece and nephews, Calieb, Logan, and McKenzie of North Lewisburg. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Pam (Ron) Pope of DeGraff, Randy (Collette) Aultman of Indian Lake, Sandy Kysenceder of Waynesfield, Cricket (Dave) Vance of Bellefontaine, Jeri Dionne of Sebring, Florida, Mike ( Johnna) Colyer of Sarasota, Fla., Choi Aultman of Virginia,and several great aunts and uncles and many cousins.
Ashley worked for RTC Industries and enjoyed participating in Special Olympics. She also enjoyed doing crafts, reading, coloring, word searches and going to the Logan County Fair.
Ashley, keeping with her loving and generous spirit, was able to be an organ and tissue donor.
Pastor Harold Leiss will officiate a private funeral service at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Private burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
