Ashlee Nicole “Ash” Ray, 26, of Bellefontaine, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born May 19, 1989, in Plain City, to Scott and Colleen Ray, who survive in Bellefontaine, along with a brother, Ben of Kettering; paternal grandmother, Patty Ray of Groveport; “partner in crime” cousin, Allison Tackett of Delaware; special friend, Paul Buckley of Boston, Mass.; and her beloved cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Holderman; and paternal grandfather, George Ray.
She graduated from Ridgemont High School, where she excelled in the sports program. Ashlee loved all things Ohio State and was an avid Buckeye fan and collector of memorabilia.
She had an artist’s eye and loved art in all forms and was a talented individual who took photographs, drew and painted.
A private funeral is at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charities of the donors’ choices.
