Benjamin Logan’s boys basketball team had its offense firing on Tuesday, but the Raiders fell short in an 81-78 loss to host Tecumseh.
The Raiders slip to 4-9 on the season, while the Arrows move to 3-10.
Tecumseh came away with an 18-14 lead after the first quarter and the Arrows led 37-36 at the break.
The Arrows then held a 58-56 advantage after three periods. Tecumseh gutted out a 23-22 effort in the fourth quarter to hold on for the win.
Ethan Ricketts scored 21 points to lead the Raiders, Trey Allen tallied 17 points and Davontae Fahle and Landon Hunt each had 13 points.
In junior varsity play, Tecumseh clipped Ben Logan 72-71 in overtime. Alec Rodenberger fueled the Raiders with 23 points and Breshon Jacobs had 20 points.
The freshman game saw Tecumseh run past Ben Logan 72-40. Ian Scheiderer led the Raiders with 12 points.
Ben Logan hosts Indian Lake on Friday for a local CBC meeting.
