Area high school juniors and seniors have been invited to participate in the second annual Logan County Work Force Expo from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 17, at Indian Lake High School.
Each local school will attend the expo during a pre-arranged time block. Participating schools include Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Riverside and Calvary Christian.
Representatives from many local businesses and industries will showcase what their company offers to the community, and students will have the opportunity to learn about different career opportunities available now and in the future.
In addition, pre-registered seniors will have the opportunity to interview for jobs that are currently available.
All juniors and seniors who are not interviewing will attend breakout sessions. Topics include: Grown-up Reality, Pathway to Your Career Super Power, Be Your Own Boss, Are You a Gazing Wimpy Fish, and Someone Like Me.
This expo has been arranged by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center in partnership with Logan County Chamber of Commerce and Logan County Job and Family Services.
