Developers have informed the Bellefontaine City Council they intend to seek state housing credits for a proposed 52-unit apartment complex off Sandusky Avenue near Shady Lane Drive.
Spire Development Inc.’s Scott Harrold outlined the scope of Campbell Landing Apartments in a Feb. 12 letter to the council.
Spire is partnering with Thomas & Marker Construction Co. to develop the complex on the north side of Sandusky Avenue.
He said today engineering and design work on the project will not begin until after the partnership shores up the state financing package.
A project of this size will cost an estimated $9 million, Harrold said.
