Allison Marie Norris, 55, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, Nov. 21, 2016.
She was a bright light in a dimming world and vehemently loved those who loved her. She had a warmth she shared with all of those that were in her presence, a grace and kindness that left us all with newfound faith in humanity, and a bubbly sense of humor and wit that effortlessly created an atmosphere of happiness and gut-busting laughter.
Her husband, Steve Norris, and two sons, James and Stevie Ray Norris, brought immense joy to her life. She spoke of her pride for them very often. She was a long-time employee at Kroger, and her friends and family there were very close to her heart.
She was also a lover of animals. She has five cats and a dog that she has rescued and nursed back to life in some way. Her family and friends will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by Margaret Ann George (mother), James W. George (father) and Ronald George (brother)
She is survived by her husband, Steve A. Norris; sons, James and Stevie Ray Norris; special nieces, Eva Lattimer Dougherty and LeAnna Lattimer; brother, Raymond George Sr.; sister, Lynn Norris; mother-in-law, Thelma Norris Lattimer; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family hosts a celebration and memorial of Allison’s life from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Wake Up the World Ministries, 200 E. Columbus Ave., Bellefontaine.
Jennings Farley Funeral Home and Crematory, West Liberty, handled arrangements.
