The following is a list of activities planned for this weekend’s annual Labor Day Festival at the West Liberty Lions Park.
Friday: 8 p.m., bingo.
Saturday: 11 a.m., roast beef dinner, main food tent; 11 a.m., Michael Fittro, local musician, main stage; noon, tractor parade; 2:30 p.m., West Liberty-Salem High School Band, main stage; 3 p.m., lawn mower racing and go-kart racing, pulling track; 3:15 p.m., square dancing; 4 p.m., Muleskinners Band, main stage; 5 p.m., ice cream social, food tent; 5:30 p.m., Majesty’s Quartet (formerly Unto Him), main stage; 7 p.m., Jack Fox Band, main stage; 8 p.m., bingo; and 9 p.m., The Groove, sponsored by Peoples Savings & Loan Co., take lawn chairs.
Sunday: noon, antique tractor pull, pulling track; 2 p.m., Logan County Dulcimers, food tent; 6 p.m., community church service, food tent; 7 p.m., Love & The Outcome concert, sponsored by Shine FM and Cole-Pak, take lawn chairs; 8 p.m., bingo.
Monday: 10:30 a.m., kiddie pedal tractor pull; 11 a.m., chicken barbecue; noon, Willie Yoder’s famous tug of war, Onion Creek; all day, ball games
Daily Events: Wheat thrashing; kids’ games; duck races; tractor teeter-totter, at the pulling track; kids area featuring petting zoo, pony rides.
