The Logan County Branch of the American Association of University Women and the Bellefontaine Examiner present the 20th annual “Nothing Trivial About Education” Trivia Bee on Wednesday, March 15, at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.
Each team competing in the bee is made up of five people, which can include adults of all ages and high school students. The competition consists of 10 rounds of questions and begins promptly at 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive for photos and refresements beginning at 6:15 p.m.
The team registration fee is $110 and includes pizza, snacks and beverages. The registration deadline is March 9. Contact Kristen Braig at 843-4195 or at [email protected].
Proceeds pay the camp registration fee for a Logan County girl entering seventh- or eighth-grade to attend one of two area science, technology, engineering and math camps — Camp GEMS at Ohio Northern University or Be WISE Camp at Denison University. The remaining funds will be divided between the AAUW and the Logan County Education Foundation.
Members of the winning team will receive medals and will be featured in special promotion in the Bellefontaine Examiner.
