West Liberty-Salem’s wrestling team competed at the Toledo St. John’s Jesuit Invitational on Friday and Saturday and came away with four placers.
Junior Major Stratton won the 195-pound weight class with a 5-0 record. That included three pins, a technical fall and a major decision.
Placing sixth for the Tigers was Trenton Douthwaite at 126 pounds with two pins.
Finishing seventh for WLSalem were Tyler Douthwaite (120) and Austin VanHoose (132).
Also for the Tigers, Kyle Wolfe (220) had three pins on the day.
WL-Salem wrestles at the Milton Union Invitational on Saturday.
