Linda S. Leffler Rodabaugh, 63, of Russells Point, passed away Tuesday morning, July 4, 2017, at her home.
Linda was born Feb. 5, 1954 in Lima to the late James and Louvica “Peggy” Caudel Leffler. She was preceded in death by a brother, William “Butch” Leffler.
Linda married Marion “Rody” Rodabaugh on Aug. 21, 2009, at Indian Lake and he survives. She is also survived by five children, John Bowman, Jamey Holland and Joshua Ward, all of Lima, Jeremiah Ward of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Jody Hadding of Waynesfield; 13 grandchildren, Jaden Hadding, Destiny Beckett, Jamey Holland Jr., Skyleigh Holland, Hope Bowman, Danielle Bowman, Jessica Bowman, Megan Bowman, Alexis Jordan, Tru Ward, Jeslyn Ward, Candice Ball and Kelsie Ball; two sisters, Mary Shockley and Diane Therien; and a brother, Jim Leffler.
Linda was a 1972 graduate of Lima Senior High School and attended The Ohio State University. She was known as “The Dance Lady” and instructed ballroom dancing for more than 20 years. She was a member of Silver Creek United Methodist Church, Kenton, and Indian Lake Eagles Aerie 3615 Auxiliary, Indian Lake Women of the Moose Lodge 452 and Doyle R. Miller AMVETS Post 39 Auxiliary, all of Lakeview. She enjoyed dancing, boating, socializing with family and friends, singing karaoke, baking and cooking. She loved throwing her annual Red, White and Blue and Halloween parties.
Pastor Mark Bishop begins a memorial service at noon, Saturday, July 8, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Silver Creek UMC Youth Ministry.
