Tiffani J. Hunter, 32, of 5330 County Road 43, Apt. R2, DeGraff, was charged Thursday with public intoxication, persistent disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Around 9:45 p.m., officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to Euclid Street and Cook Avenue in reference to a possible fight. Ms. Hunter was found at 717 Euclid St. and appeared to be heavily intoxicated.
Resident Brenda Shields told police the suspect was in the midst of three-day drinking binge.
The suspect repeatedly interrupted officers and tapped an officer on the chest with index finger demanding he arrest two other women.
While the officers was trying to talk to Ms. Shields, the suspect struck Ms. Shields in the face. She then struggled with officers as they arrested her, kicking at them and trying to pull away.
Three times she was taken to the ground and leg restraints were used to control her.
She was taken to the Logan County Jail and placed in a restraint chair.
• Wesley B. Makemson, 33, of 547 E. Columbus Ave., Apt. 14, was charged Saturday with public intoxication while Lynsey A. Knepper, 27, of Sidney, was charged for selling alcohol to an intoxicated person.
Around 12:10 a.m., an off-duty officer observed Mr. Makemson enter Speedway, 600 E. Sandusky Ave., stumbling and apparently drunk. An on-duty officer arrived and together the lawmen watched as the intoxicated man walked out with a 12-pack of beer.
Man faces domestic charge

Jason M. Pohlschneider, 34, of 555 Newell St., Apt. 21, was charged Saturday with domestic violence.
Around 5:30 a.m., Antoinette Alvarez, of the same address, came into the police department to report her boyfriend had attacked her leaving injuries on her legs, arms and back. She had scratches on her back consistent with having been dragged across concrete.
She told officers she fought back, scratching the defendant.
The suspect was found in his residence with visible injuries. He was arrested and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
