While nothing is final at this point, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and Logan County HAZMAT officials talked about housing the unit in a vacant district building during OHPCC’s board of education meeting Wednesday.
OHPCC has a building available to store HAZMAT equipment and would only require the organization to pay utility costs. A formal agreement is in the works.
In other matters, the board accepted the $89,700 bid from Miami & Erie Contractors of St. Marys to replace a cafeteria freezer/cooler system.
One-year limited certified, extended days and supplemental contracts were awarded to Shelby D. Faulkner as Indian Lake satellite agriculture education instructor; Jayne A. Jones as Benjamin Logan satellite media arts instructor; Lori A. Ludwig as Marysville satellite health technology instructor and Lyndsey J. Murphy as the Mechanicsburg satellite agriculture education instructor.
