Fred W. Endsley, 88 of Bellefontaine passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Campbell Place.
Fred was born April 18, 1933 in Marysville, OH to the late Charles E. and Mable (Kindell) Endsley. On April 17, 1954 he married Marilyn J. Austin, who preceded him in death in 2002. Fred found comfort and companionship for the rest of his life in the loving arms of his companion of 18 years, Norma Cummings.
Fred attended the East Liberty Church of Christ. He worked 45 years for Knowlton Construction Company and later worked at Tree Links Golf Course during his retirement. Fred was a member of the Lima Area Callers Association (square dancing club,) the Ohio Square Campers, The American Legion and many other clubs and organizations throughout his life. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Mike (Sara) Endsley and Terri (Benjamin) Willoby; grandchildren David (Jessica) Willoby, Jared (Ionieau Bidwell) Willoby and Benjamin Willoby; great grandchildren, Nick, Whitney, Powel, Brooke, Hayle, Trenton, and Breanne; Norma’s son, Robert (Karol) Cummings; half-children, Butch Yelton and Debbie Jenkins; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn J. Endsley; son, Steven Wayne Endsley; siblings, Ralph, Frieda and Norman.
A Funeral Service will take place Saturday, January 22, at noon at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A private family burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
