The Logan County Sheep Improvement Association conducted its 71st annual banquet Thursday night at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center where culinary arts students prepared and served the meal.
Abby Pozderac, the Ohio Lamb and Wool Queen of Mt. Vernon, was the guest speaker. She is a sophomore ag education student at The Ohio State University and a former state FFA officer.

Hannah Gross, 17-year-old daughter of Larry and Shelli Gross, was named the 2016 Lamb and Wool Queen. A member of the Stitchin’, Stirrin’-n-Stuff 4-H Club, she is a 10-year 4-H participant and a student at Indian Lake High School. She replaces Christina Bowen.
Named the 2016 Lamb and Wool Princess was Kayla Cummins, daughter of Brad and Jacey Cummins. She is a sixth-grader at Indian Lake Middle School and is a member of the Miami Valley Producers 4-H Club. She replaces Meghan Orr.
