Roy L. “Moose” Hensley, Jr., 69, of Lakeview, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center.
Roy was born on February 18, 1952, in Dayton, a son of the late Roy, Sr. and Earlene Grider Hensley. He was preceded in death by a son, Roy L. Hensley, III.
Roy married Debra Ambos-on August 2, 1995, and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters, London (Jason), Stacey (Joseph) and Jessica Hensley, eight grandchildren, Joseph, Victoria (Ian), Joshua (Brittany), Shaelynn, Lillian, Shelby, Bryce and Jordan, two sisters, Donna (Henry) of Moraine, and Kathy (Doug) Sexton, nieces and nephews, Trisha, Seth, Morgan, and Matthew and many friends from 4-Seasons Campgrounds.
Moose was a graduate of West Carrollton High School and career truck driver. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533. He loved collecting knifes and loved spending his time with Debra fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
