Karen Sue Brown, 64, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at her home with her husband by her side.
Karen was born on July 26, 1956, in Lima, Ohio, a daughter of the late Russell Lee and Phyllis Jean Rambo Herring. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelby Brown, on November 21, 2017.
Karen married the love of her life, Terry Brown, on April 9, 1993, in Russells Point, and he survives. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda (Robert) Grumbling, her brother, Ronnie L. Herring, brothers/ sisters-in-law, Deloras Karus, Donald Leroy (Brenda) Brown, Loretta (Mike) Stratton, Connie (Jim) Francis, Tim Brown, and Donna (Jim) Holbrook, mother-in-law, Ruby Stroud, and stepmother-in-law, Carol Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
Karen was a 1974 graduate of Indian Lake High School and earned her degree in business at Northwestern Ohio Business College. She worked at TRC for 30 plus years enjoying her work and cherishing her friendships she made there. Karen enjoyed gardening, going to auctions, yard sales and holiday shopping trips with her sister, fishing, and baking Christmas cookies. She loved her family and her cats. Karen was a very loving and caring individual who would help anyone she saw in need. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Pastor Dana Kidder will begin funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday, June 21, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
