Caleb J. Davis, 30, of 13923 Woll Drive, Lakeview, was charged with falsification and possession of drug abuse instruments following a traffic stop about 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department observed his vehicle in the 800 block of south Main Street. They found that the registered owner of the vehicle had an active Delaware County warrant for a probation violation.
The traffic stop was initiated in the 1000 block of south Main Street, and Mr. Davis reportedly gave officers a false name and Social Security number. Upon further questioning, the defendant provided deputies with his real name.
When placing Mr. Davis under arrest, officers located a syringe in his pants pocket. He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
• Martin H. Johnson, 56, of 4000 Alpine Parkway, Lot W2, Zanesfield, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers observed his vehicle complete several improper turns in the area of west Auburn Avenue and south Main Street and initiated the traffic stop.
While officers were questioning him, he eventually admitted that he had a bag of marijuana in the glove box, which was turned over to officers. He was issued the summons.
• Adair Robinson, 827 W. Sandusky Ave., Apt. 6, Bellefontaine, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana following an incident Tuesday evening.
Officers were in the area of 827 W. Sandusky Ave. about 8:30 p.m. investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint. Mr. Robinson was walking in the area, and when officers stopped to talk with him, they observed an odor of marijuana on his person.
A bag of marijuana was recovered from his pants pocket, and he was issued the summons.
