A juvenile and two women were charged Thursday after a 5:10 p.m. fight at 513 N. Detroit St.
Skylar Driskill, 15, of that address, faces a delinquency count of assault, while her mother, Jennifer Plikerd, 43, also of that address, and Samantha L. Harshbarger, 19, of 265 S. Oak St., Lakeview, each face one count of disorderly conduct.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report Ms. Harshbarger was visiting Kevin Taylor, a resident of an upstairs apartment house. She had parked her vehicle behind Mr. Taylor’s in the drive.
Ms. Plikerd arrived home and began honking the horn of her vehicle and yelling demands to move Ms. Harshbarger’s vehicle from the drive.
Ms. Harshbarger and Mr. Taylor proceeded outside and while he moved the vehicle, Skylar attacked Ms. Harshbarger. She fought back and the two tumbled to the ground. Ms. Plikerd joined in and bit Ms. Harshbarger on the thigh.
Mr. Taylor broke up the fight.
While officers were taking reports, they overheard Skylar admit in a cell phone conversation with a friend that she hit Ms. Harshbarger three or four times before the woman fought back.
