Constance “Connie” D. Antram Wells, 73, of Ostrander, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She retired after over 30 years from the Olentangy Local School District where she served as an administrative secretary in human resources. Connie was raised on her family’s farm, graduated from Indian Lake High School in 1965 and attended Ohio University.
Connie was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Marysville where she was past president of Presbyterian Women, the coordinator for “Bookin’ It” book club and served on the board of Deacons.
In her spare time, Connie was a movie enthusiast and avid reader. She was known for her support of others through sending uplifting cards and notes of encouragement.
She was born October 11, 1947 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Donald G. and Eleanor J. Bushong Antram.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Harold G. Wells, whom she married October 19, 1995 in Denver, Colorado; her children, Julie Ann (Daryl) Apple of Port Clinton, and Jeremy W. (Kelly) Lawrence of Spartanburg, South Carolina; her grandchildren, Joseph L. and Isaac P. Apple and Lydia J. Lawrence; her siblings, Donna (David) Rice, Mary Lou (Lynn) Moon, Joseph (Marianne) Antram and Donald Antram; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends, including Chuck (Alyssa) Stephens and Ann (Doug) Christopher.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville, where the family will receive friends beginning at 4 p.m. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 15, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware.
