Jennifer Maynard, 35, of 224 E. Auburn Ave., was charged Monday with criminal damaging after she admitted to flattening the front tire of her neighbor’s vehicle.
Christina Hamilton, who lives at 226 E. Auburn Ave., the other side of the duplex, reported the damage shortly before 6 a.m. Hamilton came out to leave for work and found the front driver’s side tire flat. It was the second time in the past week.
She had installed a security camera and it recorded Maynard walk to driver’s side of Hamilton’s vehicle around 3:15 a.m., officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report.
Maynard was issued a summons. She told officers she would be willing to pay for the damage.
Driver cited for school bus violation
Jason J. Harbour, 34, of 1594 N. U.S. Route 68, was cited Monday for failure to stop for a school bus.
A Bellefontaine City Schools bus driver reported the license plate number of a white pickup truck that passed the bus during a 3:15 p.m. stop in the 600 block of west Sandusky Avenue.
Officers met with him at his residence and issued the ticket.
Resident reports stolen TV
Tyrone C. Coleman, 408 Walker St., reported Sunday a 45-inch high definition television was stolen from his residence earlier in October. He provided a named female suspect to officers.
